ABOUT THE WINERY

After nearly three decades of growing grapes for some of Australia’s best known wine brands, the Zilzie winery was built in 1999 with the first vintage released under the Zilzie name in 2000.

The increasingly popular and distinctive Selection 23 range was introduced in 2004. They’ve come a long way in 10 years, with their winery tripling in capacity, and a growing range from the humble beginnings of four varieties, to now include consumer favourites such as Pinot Grigio, Moscato and Rosé.

It’s not all about size, Zilzie is also recognised for its exceptional quality, having won 27 trophies in its short history and is the only winery from the Murray Darling Region that was rated 4.5 stars by James Halliday in his 2009 Wine Companion.
