Superb value cool climate Shiraz Aromas of black berry fruits, some liquorice, white pepper and caramel, from time in French oak, are evident on the nose. The palate is quite youthful and tight and shows the same characters as the nose of black berry fruits and spices. The fruit complexities are derived from the combination of old vines, a clean vintage and a selection of vineyard sites. Due to the low yields and general lack of Shiraz planted throughout the Geelong region we have selected vineyards throughout Victoria's cooler climates to produce a style which reflects our winemaking philosophy for this brand: balanced, complex and restrained.
